🐇 Quick Thinking at the Riparian Preserve

The Gist: A routine day turned memorable at the Riparian Preserve when a rabbit got stuck in a car’s wheel well. Gilbert Park Ranger Tim responded, carefully removed part of the wheel cover, and safely freed the animal. Unhurt and a little startled, the rabbit hopped right back into the preserve where it belongs.

🎨 Murals Around Every Corner in Gilbert

The Gist: Verde at Cooley Station is quickly becoming one of Gilbert’s most colorful spots. The walkable, 23-acre community is covered in murals by mostly local artists, with pieces inspired by Arizona, Gilbert, and a bit of playful imagination. Now, you can explore them through a new virtual art walk, complete with artist bios and mural stories, whether you’re strolling the neighborhood or browsing from home.
