The Town of Gilbert has teamed up with Big Frog Custom T-Shirts to launch Gilbert Goodies, a shop full of Gilbert-themed merch you can order online and pick up right here in town. From cozy wearables to fun keepsakes, it’s an easy way to shop small and spread some hometown pride.

🧊 First Polar Plunge Makes a Splash for Kids
The Gist: Gilbert is hosting its inaugural Polar Plunge on January 3 at 9 a.m. at Williams Field Pool. Brave participants will jump into an unheated pool to raise money for the Aquatics Scholarship Fund, which helps provide swim lessons and water safety training for local children. Everyone who takes the plunge receives an event sticker and T-shirt, along with the satisfaction of supporting a meaningful cause.
Why It Matters: These funds help make swim lessons accessible for Gilbert families who might otherwise miss out. Registration is required, and kids ages 4–7 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian in the water.
Rou is soaking up the season with confidence and a playful spark.
This 7 year old medium terrier mix loves sunny backyard lounging, gentle neighborhood walks, and the occasional lizard chase.
She is potty trained, trustworthy at home, and happy entertaining herself with toys. Rou prefers a calm, adult-only home where she can be the only pet and enjoy slow introductions. Adoption fee set by the rescue.
