Why It Matters: This big investment brings high-skilled engineering jobs to our doorstep and strengthens our local industrial base. It firmly cements Gilbert as a top national hub for building advanced national security and commercial satellites.

The Gist: 2026 State of the Town documentary, "For Today. For Tomorrow. For Gilbert.," just scored a prestigious Rocky Mountain Emmy nomination in the Politics/Government category. Produced entirely in-house by our own Office of Communications and Engagement, the piece captures our community's exciting growth, key infrastructure investments, and local identity as we approach our final buildout phase.

Why It Matters: This nomination puts a well-deserved spotlight on our talented local team and shares our town's inspiring story across a six-state region. The awards will be announced at a Phoenix ceremony on November 7.
