🎶 Gilbert Regional Park Closed for Big Weekend Concert

The Gist: The Regional Park will close to the public from noon Friday, Nov. 7, through early Sunday morning, Nov. 9, to host Party in the Park, featuring Pitbull, Lil Jon, and other performers. The lawn and amphitheater areas will remain closed through Monday, Nov. 10, for setup and cleanup. Expect heavier traffic around the park on Saturday.

Why It Matters: The park’s temporary closure helps ensure safety and smooth operations for one of Gilbert’s biggest live music events of the year. For details and parking info:

💧 Gilbert sets listening sessions on water woes

The Gist: Gilbert is hosting three listening sessions to hear residents’ frustrations over soaring water bills and explain next steps in a planned third-party audit. The town says it’s hiring extra staff to handle billing inquiries and expects the audit to begin this week, lasting up to six months. Sessions start Nov. 10 at Town Hall, with others on Nov. 15 and Dec. 3 at the San Tan Water Treatment Plant.

Why It Matters: Many locals say steep rate hikes and billing glitches are straining family budgets, and they want transparency before new increases take effect.
